The smart activation feature allows you to automate:
- Requests to activate your protection system when you leave
- The disarming of your security system when you arrive back home
Smart activation
Somfy Home Alarm recognizes all users having a key fob that's set up in your Somfy Protect app.
So when a person with a key fob leaves, he or she automatically receives a notification offering to activate the system.
Smart deactivation
Somfy Home Alarm recognizes all users having a key fob set up in your Somfy Protect app.
The alarm is automatically deactivated when a person opens the door of the home (the door being equipped with an IntelliTAG configured as the "Entry Door"), with his or her key fob (i.e., key fob linked to the user).
If you have activated the instant alarm for the IntelliTAG on the front door, your key fob must be detected by the Link Essential through the front door. To do so, you may want to move the Link Essential closer to the front door.
