The purpose of this setting is to alert you when your Link Advanced is moved.
If a thief attempts to disable your monitoring system by damaging the Link Advanced, they will unknowingly set off a self-protection alert. This lets you know that someone has entered your home.
The alert will vary depending on the activation status of your Somfy Home Alarm Advanced:
- System activated
The siren starts immediately and continues for 3 minutes. On the app, the alert message appears in red on the home page.
The owner receives an email, a text message, and a push notification. The community receives an email and a push notification.
The event is listed in the activity record.
- System deactivated or in night mode
The siren "dings" once, the owner receives a push notification, and the event is listed in the activity record.
