How does jamming detection work?

 

Radio frequency interference is electromagnetic energy that impairs or interrupts the operation of radio communication transmitters and receivers. When interference occurs, system components are unable to communicate with each other.

 

The Link is equipped with an interference detection feature.

 

If interference is detected, a push notification is sent (not by email or SMS). This detection also appears in the activity stream: "the radio connection to the devices has been disrupted."

 

When the connection with the devices is restored, a push notification is sent (not by email or SMS). This detection also appears in the activity stream: "the radio connection to the devices has been restored."

 

Any new interference detection (and the associated notification) will be disabled within 30 minutes of an initial detection
