How do I disable the battery optimization features, so that smart activation is operational on my Huawei phone?

1. Go to Phone Settings.
2. Tap Battery.
3. Tap App Launch.
4. Set the Somfy Protect app to Manage Manually, and make sure everything is activated.

• Startup Manager

Startup Manager is a tool that prevents applications from running automatically after the phone starts up. 

1. Go to Phone Settings.
2. Tap All.
3. Select Startup Manager.
4. Activate the Somfy Protect app from the list of applications.

Solution: Classic Battery Optimization

1. Go to Phone Settings.
2. Tap Battery Optimization.
3. Tap the small inverted triangle next to Don't Allow.
4. Tap All Apps.
5. Select the Somfy Protect app.

Select Don't Allow.
