The detector test lets you check the smoke sensor, the battery level, and the radio signal strength.
The test is done directly on your detector by pressing the middle button for 3 seconds. Warning! The alarm will sound for 8 seconds.
If you have installed and connected multiple detectors together, then these will go off too.
Never use a flame to test your detector as this can cause damage to the unit.
Remember, it is recommended that you test your smoke detector regularly to ensure it is working properly.
Tip: Set up a monthly reminder in the Somfy Protect app (in the settings of your smoke detector) so you don't forget to do the test.
