To add a plan to your Somfy system, use your Somfy Protect mobile application: go to the menu, then select “My services”.
The “My services” page is made of three parts:
1. Offer - displays the current plan (Basic Self Monitoring, free plan by default)
2. Services - services linked to my plan
3. Payments - access to invoices
1 / How can I subscribe to an offer?
To subscribe to a paying plan:
1 / Press on the current plan
2 / Here, you have the choice between the different available plans, you can go from one to the other by swiping from right to left (the current plan is indicated at the bottom of the screen).
3 / Each plan’s monthly rate is displayed on the orange confirmation button at the bottom of the screen.
4 / Once the plan is selected, the details of the associated services are displayed. If the plan includes continuous video recording, you can choose whether it is done on 1 or 7 days, as well as the associated cameras (the total amount will be modified based on your choices).
5 / Press on the “Pay” orange button at the bottom of the page in order to go on to payment.
6 / The next screen summarizes what you’ll be charged for the monthly plan; you’ll also complete your personal and payment information.
7 / The last screen confirms the beginning of your subscription to the new chosen plan.
2 / How can I cancel my offer?
If you want to cancel your current plan, you’ll come back to the Basic Self Monitoring plan (free, without commitment):
1 / Press on the current plan.
2 / Display the “Basic Self Monitoring” plan then press on the “Select” button at the bottom.
3 / A confirmation screen will ask you whether you’d like to continue with terminating your plan (“Continue”) or go back (“Cancel”).
4 / This last screen confirms that the subscription has been updated.
5 / Once back in settings, you can see under “My plans” that the current plan has been canceled (exclamation point on the right) and will end on the date displayed.
3 / How do I reactivate my subscription to a plan?
Before you cancel your termination, check the plan’s status. You can verify this in “My plan”: an exclamation point on the right hand side and the plan’s end date displayed means that it is set for termination.
In order to reactivate the plan, please proceed as follows:
1 / Press on the plan set to be terminated.
2 / then press on the blue button "Cancel termination" at the bottom.
3 / A confirmation screen asks you if you’d like to cancel the termination (“Confirm”) or go back (“Cancel”).
4 / This last screen confirms that the subscription has been updated and that the plan will be effective again in a few minutes.
5 / Once back in settings, you can see under “My plan” that the current plan has been reactivated: the date of the next invoice is displayed and the exclamation point has disappeared.
4 / How can I view my invoice following a change in service put into effect during the month underway?
Somfy services require no contract or commitment. You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time. Please note that our minimum subscription is for one month.
You can also change your subscription at any time, to switch from a paying plan to a less expensive or more expensive plan.
In this case, we will prorate your bill as follows:
- The unused part of your previous subscription would be reimbursed, and you would be billed pro rata for the projected use of your new subscription.
- Following the above example, the amount billed for the month of May would be somewhere between €4.99 and €9.99, depending on the day that the subscription was changed.
